As part of the Porthleven Arts Festival, I exhibited a sculpture made from reclaimed materials to highlight the issue of ocean pollution. The Save Our Seas sculpture used everyday household recyclables, as well as fragments of plastic and rope collected during beach cleans that I carried out in the local area.

I decided to exhibit the piece alongside a poem titled Before the paint dries which explores the irony of the sea being used as the subject of art and creativity, whilst we simultaneously desecrate it.
