As part of our U-Studio takeover event at Tate St Ives in March, I developed a creative writing activity for the Young People's Programme.

This involved using cut out and collage techniques on scans of Hepworth's recent biography to create poems in response to the retrospective exhibition of her work in the main gallery space.

These poems and processes evolved into the concept of my portfolio for an experimental poetry module at university.

A trio of poems created from Hepworth's 'Art and Life' biography.

This activity was later chosen to be showcased at the Royal Visit to the Hepworth Museum, in order to demonstrate how the Tate Collective Producers engage with local artists and their legacies.
